About me
Megan Filice serves as the MTSS & Equity Coordinator in SJCOE’s Continuous Improvement and Support Department and as Community Schools Coordinator for San Joaquin County. With a background in secondary English instruction, site leadership, and systems-level coaching, she brings over a decade of experience designing and facilitating learning for both students and educators. Megan has presented in classroom, school, district, and countywide settings, supporting work in culturally responsive teaching, literacy across content areas, student intervention, inclusive school climates, and community-connected systems of support. Her approach to professional learning is grounded in clarity, intentional design, and adult learning principles. She supports educators in developing learning experiences that are well-scoped, thoughtfully sequenced, visually coherent, and connected to real practice. Megan is committed to helping teams create professional learning that builds trust, strengthens capacity, and moves from information-sharing to meaningful implementation.
